Adult Music
Choir:
The Chancel Choir meets Wednesday evenings from 7:15 until 8:45. The choir provides music at both services on Sunday mornings. Special programs are presented throughout the year.

Instrumental:
Those who play instruments are encouraged to speak with the director of music ministries as there are frequent opportunities to play.

Student Music
Choir
Our Student Choir is open to youth in grades 6 through 12.  We meet Sunday evenings from 5:30 until 6:10. The choir leads Sunday worship several times a year. Tours and trips are periodically offered as well. Solo and ensemble groups are selected from the members of the Student choir.

Instrumental:
Students who have completed at least one year of school band or two years of private lessons are encourage to become a part of our student orchestra. Rehearsals are Sundays from 5:00 until 5:30. Contact the music director if you would like to participate.

Youth Praise Band
Students who play rhythm instruments and would like to be considered for the praise band should contact Rev. Bill at revbill@mumcyouth.com. The band rehearses Sundays from 4:30 until 5:30 and plays at Youth activities on Sunday evenings.

Children’s Music

Singing
Opportunities are offered for children to participate in programs such as musicals throughout the year. Information is posted as events are planned.

Handbells / Beginning Handbells
A beginning music course is offered each year for children in 3rd through 5th grade that equips children to participate in music activities. This course is a pre-requisite for participation in Celebration Ringers.

Celebration Ringers is a handbell ensemble that is open to children in the 3rd through the 5th grade. Members must complete the beginning music course or must be approved by the director.
