PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Madison UMC’s Weekday
Program offers a
Preschool Program
and an After
School Program
licensed by the state of Mississippi. The Weekday Ministries
Programs have been charged with the mission “to provide total
care for the children entrusted to the Madison UMC
Preschool/After School Care (ASC) programs by meeting, to the
fullest extent possible, our children’s physical, educational,
and spiritual needs and to sensitively respond to the concerns
of parents.” All our actions and daily
 classroom activities
should reflect the Christian values of self-esteem, love faith,
hope, care, grace, sharing, forgiveness, creation, honesty,
obedience, and responsibility that are integral to the both the
mission of Madison UMC and the Weekday Programs.
Madison UMC Preschool Program
Mission Statement
The Preschool program, as a ministry of Madison UMC,
believes each child is a child of God and should have every
opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally,
socially and spiritually to his or her fullest potential
Curriculum
Curriculum for the 3 year olds -- Writing with out Tears
Curriculum for the 4 year olds -- Lippincott's Beginning to Read,
Write and Listen
Wee Worship and Cooking for ages 3 and 4 years is held once a week
and relates to the week's Bible stories and verses.
Bible
Curriculum is used for 2, 3, and 4 year olds
Hours of Operation
8:30 a.m. -12 Noon
from mid August-May.
Our
calendar and holidays follow Madison County Schools calendar as
closely as possible. If Madison County Schools close,
Preschool also closes.
An optional Lunch Bunch is offered on Monday,
Wednesday and Thursday for our 2’s,
3’s and 4’s. Your child may bring a sack lunch and stay until
1:40 p.m. for an additional fee.
Ages
Our Preschool program includes children beginning at 15
months of age and goes through 4-year-old kindergarten.
Each of our classes have 2 teachers per class.

2011-12 School Year Due dates and notes to remember:
Registration fee is due upon registration and
is non-refundable.
August tuition fee will be
drafted July 1, 2011. Non-refundable, 30 day notice of withdrawal is
required.
Supply fees and workbook (4 years) fees will be
drafted August 1st, 2011.
Bank drafting will be mandatory.
We discourage early arrival for
Fall Registration. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. Take a number upon
arrival.
