An open letter from Mac and Mary Owen, CR national leaders (March 17, 2020):

We are in an unprecedented time in our lives. Things have been changing so rapidly each day, from the time we wake up the news has changed; to the evening news, it’s changed again.

Our national officials are advising us to stay home for 15 days if possible. Surgeon General urges Americans to follow the CDC guidelines. He said, “We don’t want to look like Italy 2 weeks from now.”

Celebrate Recovery Forever Family,

We can do this.

We will get through this together.

We have the most incredible hard-working, Spirit-led National Team and CR network all over the world.

We are praying for each of you as you work with your local church leaders what this looks like in your area. And praying for you as you talk to other CR leaders in your area.  Mine and Mary’s landline, cell phone texts, emails are flooded with questions and asking for prayers from CR pastors and leaders all over the world.  It’s overwhelming at times.

That’s why we must keep remembering the victories we’ve seen done by God in the past and trusting Him now with the future. We look forward to the victories we will experience in the days to come!

We will keep giving out hope.

We will keep praying for one another.

We will keep praying for our national authorities.

We will keep showing God’s love to our hurting world.

Mac & Mary
