How is Madison UMC offering opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, and fellowship during the COVID-19 pandemic?
  • Online Guest Card -- We are excited you are seeing this page! We would love to connect & answer questions you may have about ministries at MUMC. Please fill out and submit our Online Connect Card, and we will reach out soon.

  • Parking (CAMPUS MAP HERE) -- Here is guidance for the optimum place to park & enter the building based on where you will worship, what time, & if you will be involved in Sunday School as well. IN CASE OF RAIN, please be encouraged to use the East/Atrium entrance under the covered drive:
    • West Parking Lot: if you will only come to worship in the Sanctuary, or if you come to early worship in the Sanctuary followed by Sunday School, please consider parking in the WEST LOT and entering through either the WEST FELLOWSHIP HALL DOOR or the SOUTH/FRONT DOOR to the Sanctuary;
    • East Parking Lot: if you will only come to worship in the Multi-Purpose Room, OR if you are coming for Sunday School followed by worship (in the MPR or the Sanctuary), please consider parking in the EAST LOT and entering through the EAST ATRIUM DOORS (under the covered drive).
  • In-Person Worship Services -- 8:30 AM & 10:45 AM (main Sanctuary and in the Multipurpose Room [second floor, Education Building] as needed)
    • SAFETY PROTOCOLS (Updated Starting May 9): As of May 9, all who visit our ministry facilities are asked to continue to wear a mask when moving about in hallways when going to and from worship and Sunday School. Our two Sanctuary worship services will now be "mask optional" (with the exception of required masking during congregational singing) with encouragement to maintain some distance on pews between persons/families not in your immediate household or persons you know whom you are doing life with. Please keep your mask on until you are seated in your pew. Our two Multi-Purpose Room services will now be "mask required." We have increased seating capacity for both the Sanctuary (all pews can be used) and the MPR. Greeters open doors for people and we have hand sanitizer stations at each entrance as well as masks if needed. Please contact the church office if you want to discuss other safety concerns (601-856-6058).
  • Online Worship -- livestreaming 8:30 AM service on our YouTube channel, available as a recording after the live premiere
  • Nursery -- we have resumed having a nursery on Sunday mornings.
  • Kids Sunday School -- we have resumed having KIDS Sunday School classes. Contact our Director of KIDS Ministries, Renee Scales, at renee@madisonumc.org with any questions about that.
  • Student Ministry -- Sunday School has resumed and meets in classrooms near the 2nd floor Student Lounge in the Education Building. Sunday Night Ministry meets from 6:00-8:15 PM on Sunday nights & at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights during the school year; contact Cory Phillips with questions
  • Adult Sunday School -- most of our Adult classes (INFO) are now meeting back on campus, and some meet via Zoom video conferencing or offer a Zoom option for those not able to be present in-person. Please contact Ben Butler (ben@madisonumc.org) if you want to find out how to join a class.
  • Wednesday Night Ministry -- Wednesday night ministry has ended for the semester, but we anticipate getting back to a full Wednesday night experience (fellowship meal, ministry offerings for all ages) in August 2021.

Corporate Worship is a vital and essential part of our life together at Madison UMC. We gather together on Sunday mornings as a family of believers to bear witness to the presence and work of Jesus Christ in our lives through song, prayer, and the proclamation of God’s holy word.
