As we begin a new year, please consider starting or resuming a Bible reading plan. Here are several suggestions:
We have received over $105,000 for this offering so far!! You can still share a Lord’s Acre offering electronically by clicking the Give tab on the upper right-hand corner of this website, by mailing a check to our church (Madison Methodist Church 100 Post Oak Road Madison, MS 39110), or by placing a check in the offering plate at one of our upcoming services. Check needs to have “Lord’s Acre” written in the memo line.

Email the staff member listed with the ministry in which you are interested to let them know you would like to serve.
We have concluded our Wednesday night series, but you can go to our YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@madisonmcms) to watch the Catechism summary videos. Extra copies of the catechism are available in the church office.
Shower Power is a local organization restoring dignity to the less fortunate, one shower at a time. We will continue collecting backpacks, towels, and wash cloths but we can also use jackets and boots during the winter. Items must be new or gently used. There will be a collection box in the Fellowship Hall to gather donations. For questions or more information, please contact Diane Goolsby (601-214-3726).

Last year, twenty-seven people from our church participated in Wesley Biblical Seminary’s Wesley Institute. There are two tracks – a Bible Track that covers every book of the Bible and a Theology Track which covers theology, apologetics, and world religions. These groups meet weekly on Tuesday mornings from September to May. Participants can meet at the seminary, join the class live via Zoom, or watch the class later.
